This is the full text of our referendum to repeal SB 117 in a format that is easy to read on your screen.

All we are trying to do is to "veto" SB 117, all except the original Trina's Law, which is crossed out on the copy of the law we have to attach. The cross out means that section is NOT subject to the referendum.

We want citizens to veto everything added in the late night lame duck session, rushed through with no hearings or discussion, not even giving our Ohio Attorney General a chance to explain why he was against the changes.

Success will mean that the State of Ohio will put this proposal on the ballot for the voters to decide.

The length of the Referendum document (22 pages) is further proof that the amendments were passed too fast — thrown in to an existing bill in mid-December, with legislators not having time to read the additional material, let alone thoughtfully consider whether it's good for the people of this state.
