on SB 117 and Predatory Lending

In December 2006, days after the legislature rushed a heavily-amended SB 117 to passage, Marc Dann, Ohio's Attorney General - elect, urged Governor Taft to veto the bill because it would erode long-standing consumer protections and weaken a new law designed to crack down on unscrupulous lenders.
